Important Club Update: Verandah Removal, Safety Declaration, and Resumption of Activities
-
Verandah Removal Completed: The council has successfully removed the damaged verandah on the west side of the clubhouse. This action was necessary to ensure the safety and integrity of our building.
-
Roof Section Vermin Proofing: Our insurer has taken steps to vermin-proof the damaged roof section, further securing our premises and preventing any potential hazards.
-
Safety Declaration by Council: Following the removal of the verandah and the necessary repairs, I'm pleased to announce that the council has officially declared the building safe to enter. This is a significant milestone, and we can now proceed with confidence.
-
Temporary Fencing Remains in Place: While the council has declared the building safe, please note that temporary fencing is still in place around the enclosed area. For safety reasons, we are not permitted to enter this area until further notice.
-
Resumption of Activities: I'm thrilled to inform you that we now have full access to the rear storage area. As a result, agility training sessions will resume this Sunday as scheduled. Additionally, obedience and rally equipment will be available for ring work and general training.
-
Access to Toilet Facilities: We are also pleased to announce that our toilet facilities are now accessible to all members.
Please stay tuned for further updates regarding any changes or developments. Your safety and well-being remain our top priority, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time of transition.
