Member Events, Trials & Social Activities

Knox Obedience Dog Club offers much more than weekly dog training. Throughout the year, members can participate in Obedience, Agility, Tricks and Tracking trials, educational presentations, guest-speaker sessions, workshops, social gatherings, Members’ Fun Days and our end-of-year Christmas break-up.

These activities provide members with opportunities to develop their skills, try different dog sports, celebrate their achievements and enjoy time with their dogs in a friendly and supportive community.

Our 2026 Members’ Fun Day, held on Sunday, 19 April, is a wonderful example. Close to 60 members and their dogs enjoyed a day filled with fun, laughter, teamwork and friendly competition.

Activities included Obedience, Rally, Agility obstacle courses and novelty events such as Waggiest Tail, Best Trick and Best Dressed. Prizes and ribbons were awarded throughout the day, creating plenty of memorable moments for handlers and dogs alike.

Members from different training levels were grouped into mixed teams, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere where new friendships and connections naturally developed. The accompanying photos capture some of the memorable moments from this special event.

At KODC, we are passionate about helping dogs and their owners build confidence, develop skills and form strong, lifelong bonds in a positive and encouraging environment.

Whether you are starting with a new puppy, improving your dog’s obedience, exploring dog sports or simply looking to enjoy quality time with your dog while meeting like-minded people, KODC offers something for everyone.

New members are always welcome.
